happy birthday my froggy | life
my darling girl, two years ago you entered my world, turned it upside down. I truly never knew I could love someone so much. Being a mumma can sometimes be tough and you will probably find that out one day, but all it takes to make it all worthwhile is for you to look at me and say “mumma”. It has been a bumpy little ride so far but you make it all so worthwhile, I love you to the moon and back and then some…you are truly the light of my life. All my love, your mumma xx
in case it was lost on you freya had a red and white polka dot party….I decided the theme also extended to the party food…mini sponge cakes, white polka dot caramel creams, lemon cupcakes, jam drops, champagne berry jellies (for the big kids), strawberries dipped in white chocolate & slivered almonds, white rocky road and meringues sandwiched with white chocolate ganache…needless to say freya was bouncing off the walls for hours!
introducing kieran… | newborn
I had a long pregnancy…Freya wasn’t in much of a hurry, she was induced after 42 weeks… it didn’t really feel long, I took a month off work beforehand to pamper myself and enjoy the last days of full independence…plenty of time to get pedicures, waddle down to Tanglin for chai lattes, shop, fluff the nest and at the time lie in front of the tv watching the Beijing Olympics…it was really quite lovely.
Kieran was not nearly as patient, his poor mother Annie was instead sitting at her desk preparing for a big presentation the next day, not a thought towards the handover she would eventually have to do for her super busy job…her baby due still another 8 weeks away… who would have ever thought he would decide that night was the night…
Here he is 7 weeks later and not technically due yet but all ready to take on the world… welcome little one.

happy birthday zo bags! I can’t believe you have been shining your gorgeous light for two years already… all I can say is “ohh wooooow”! you will always be my second favourite subject! see you soon and be good to your mummy, she deserves it….

nearly two | life
I have been so busy the last few months I have hardly had a second to raise the camera to her…I picked her up tonight to carry her to bed and really realised…she is not a baby anymore… she is nearly two… I bribed her with smarties to stay still for 5 minutes (it took a whole mini packet which is evident, in between her teeth and in her dribble) and forced myself to take some photos of her last few days of onedom. I’m so glad I did…I realised looking at these photos it’s the first time in a long time that I have seen her still…frozen in time and 100% ratbag…I think this one is going straight to the pool room….

writers block… I have been holding back this post for a few days trying to work out what I wanted to say about this family… but what can you say about spending a rainy morning with these two perfect baby boys and being privileged enough to document this milestone in life for their families?

Part II of Emma & Nic’s wedding… the very very fun part! Start with an awesome bride & groom, add the best wedding guests ever, a box of rockin props and what do you get…awesomeness!!
As I mentioned before nearly all the wedding guests at Nic and Emma’s wedding traveled a long way to share their day with them and I say, what an awesome way to capture your wedding guests…and these guys truly brought it! Emma gave the best new talent awarded to the rubber chicken….totally very well deserved.

emma + nic | married
It was a perfect day in tropical Singapore, it was warm without being overwhelmingly hot and a rare cool breeze occasionally blew through and blessed the day. It was always set to be a perfect day, Emma & Nic were getting married.
I had only met Emma once before she asked me to document the most important day in her life but I felt already like I had known her forever. She is one of those people that can’t help but ooze gorgeousness, that kind of beautiful genuine gorgeousness right from her soul through to her skin and she has truly met the yang to her ying, Nic. This was reflected by the distances that 90% of the wedding party traveled to witness this perfect matching, with people travelling from all ends of Australia, and even London.
This wedding had been many months in the planning and I was so happy to see it unfold just like the day, so perfectly.
Thank you Emma & Nic for asking me to document such an amazing milestone in your lives and thank you especially for being you; full of love, kindness, joy, warmth and a particular special kind of gorgeousness. Much love and thanks xxA
Emma’s divine gown was from Angeline Baccini of Baccini & Hill, and it truly was…dee-vine!
Emm choose to get ready at The Club, a new boutique hotel that has opened in Chinatown on Ann Siang Hill, it could not have been more perfect. I just love these photos of the preparation, Emm’s girls where all they could have been…and more.
Emm & Nic chose to meet before the ceremony and I think it is so worth it, to share moments like these…

emma + nic | sneak peek
I know many of you have been wondering what has happened to me (yes, you mum!), so I thought I had better check in with a sneak peek of the divine tropical wedding I have just been to Singapore to photograph. I can’t wait to post the rest and catch up on all of my other blog posts… I am working double time to clear the back log and thank you again to my wonderfully patient clients (you know who you are…the ones wondering where your photos are! ).
the serene little soul…|baby
The name sounded familiar but when I walked through the door I instantly remembered…I had met Tilley’s mother a long long time ago…a lifetime really, I had worked with her for at my very first interior design firm. It was only a short time, it was work experience whilst I was still at uni, so yes a lifetime ago! one thing I did remember is how lovely she was, so sweet and kind. Well as they say and in this case it’s true…the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…
This is Tilley…you just spend a little bit of time with her and soon see…she has such a lovely spirit. So tender and sweet.. she’s a gentle observer, taking the whole world in with those beautiful big blue eyes, that darling smile and her serene little soul.
