Well the “silly season” is now well and truly over and it’s time to get back to real work (i.e. client’s sessions instead of my own self indulgence!).
What a better way to start off the new year than a new beginning. I was very excited to hear the little one in this tum was born over the holiday season and I can’t wait to meet the angel they named Gabriel soon!

I was walking out the door and saw this amazing setting. It took a bit over manoeuvring to get the shot (laying across a glass dining table, praying it would take me weight!) but I SO think it was worth it. How stunning are those red cushions?? One of my favourite shots…ever….!

Congratulations Theresa & Wei Ming! xA
I love a maternity session nearly as much as a newborn session and when clients go for a bump to babe session, I’m in heaven. I get to share both of these amazing sessions with a couple.
What I love about a maternity session is the amazing anticipation, the calm, the glow, the excitement… and most of all it’s witnessing this miracle of life, humans really are amazing you know. A little person…maybe the next president, world crusader, interplanetary explorer…grows in the warm, secure, perfect world of its mothers tummy.
Now I know that all sounds like I have had an overdose of sappy gas but seriously, you’ve gotta admit….
I was just about to post a beautiful newborn session and then realised it would be remiss of me not to first share the bump…before she entered the world.
Minja and I had a great session, we shared a love for photography and the colour red…the rest is history.
